New LO for sale

I just finished a Winter theme double Layout and it is now for auction at my eBay. It's a 7 days auction which means that the auction will be done next Wednesday at 4:15PM EST.

Click here to go straight to my auction. If not, you can look for me on eBay. My username is amadrian8. Below are a few pictures of the LO.

Right Side

This double layout is very glittery but the camera didn't quite capture it in every picture. This is why it's important to take a look at all the zoomed in pictures. I have more pictures in my auction. There is room for 4 visible pictures and there are two half-hidden tags for journaling and maybe even two smaller pictures. These pages feature 2 of my handmade tear bear girls in a pink Christmas outfit and another one dressed in a light blue outfit. They are absolutely gorgeous! The white 'snow' is covered with glitter and the blue icy lake is highlighted with stickles. The snowballs and snowflakes are also glittered and scattered throughout the pages for a pop of glitter. The Christmas trees are hand made by me and each one have some snow at the tips. The title is double layered and has also been glittered for added sparkle. The photo mats and background are machine sewn and highly detailed.

Don't let this one get away! Go bid on it now!

New sketch

I'm so hyped about Pages in Time's January Kit that I made a sketch with some of the things that come with it! Here it is:

This sketch features the die cut paper by Basicgrey that is part of the add on for the January Kit. It also features the Prima swirl. Finally, this sketch calls for layers of pattern paper which wont be hard to do with the yummy papers that are included in this month's kit!

Santa Baby LO

Here's another layout that I did on Dec. 23 but with the holidays, forgot to upload it!

I had so much fun doing this LO! It's my first time doing a full scraplift and I love how it turned out! I scraplifted Gabriellep's Megs. Thanks so much for the inspiration! I used non Christmas pattern paper to create this LO! In fact, I used the BasicGrey - Recess Collection. I carefully ripped and tore the edges of the paper and inked the edges to give it a distressed and aged look. I handmade the flowers, which have 5 layers, distressed and stickled them. I doodled the black swirls and used dimensional white paint for the tips. The title and the frame I cut with the Pazzles.

Pay it Forward Award

Thanks Denise!

I received my first blog award from Denise, a very talented fellow team member at Pages in Time.

This is an inspirational award and I'm very honored to receive it. It is also a "Pay it Forward" award.

When you get the award, copy this message into your blog post when you pass on the award to someone else:

"I am going to look for blogs that inspire me no matter how much bling, posts, links, etc they have on them. If I see something that actually invokes a change in they way I look at the world or how I think about papercrafts or if the person says or creates something that brings about novel ideas in me then they get the award.

I will post their first name and a link to their blog. I will leave them a message on their blog letting them know what I thought was so inspiring. Then, on my blog, I will write five or more sentences describing what kinds of things inspire me, what do I do with the inspiration and how can I pay it forward to others."

I choose to pass on this award to Sketchy Thursdays. They are a wonderful sketch blog that I frequent often for inspiration. Not only do they provide inspiration through their sketches, they also have wonderful sponsors. They award a person a week for completing their weekly sketch. They truly are an inspiration.

One more LO!

Ok, so I had to do another layout! LOL
I volunteered to be a mystery hostess in scrapbook.com for the ABC challenge, round 11 DEF set of letters. The letters were:

D-Doodling: I doodled the diamond shapes inside the bling circle. I also doodles the dots going around the rep die cut paper, and the butterfly's trail. (I got the idea for the doodled diamonds from Gabrielle)
E-extra stickles! (use more than 3 different colors): I used black, red, and platinum
F-fence: cream fence in the bottom right corner cut out with my pazzles

and here's what I came up with!

I used my own sketch for this LO. I handmade the rose in the corner as well as the butterflies. The black flourishes and the fence were cut with my Pazzles.

On another note, I'm getting ready to start Project 365 for 2010! I've been pre making digital LOs so that I just have to add pictures and journaling to the pages! I plan on making a slide show with the finished LOs and possibly print them out too!

New flowers for sale!

I just listed a new set of poinsettias flowers for sale on ebay now.
They are pictured below. The are carefully handmade by me. and they look gorgeous in a Christmas LO. I know because I've used them already. Click the picture below to go to the auction.

Christmas Past LO

I finished my second assignment as a DT for Pages in Time.
The challenge was to use the image provided and journal about past Christmas memories.

Here's what I came up with:

I used 52 sketches, 52 weeks sketch #49.(click on image to zoom in)

and here are some close ups:
These flower poinsettias I handmade using scraps of red and green paper. I finished the with stickles.

The title, which reads 'Christmas Past', was inspired by a book, Christmas Past by Bill Duncliffe. I made it using the Pazzles.

Finally, I handmade all the bling in this LO using stickles glue. I'll make a tutorial on how to make these gorgeous bling flourishes soon!
