friday...Birds of a Feather GDT-April

Happy Friday! I'm happy to announce that I'm Guest Designing for Birds of a Feather this month and Amy outdid herself with this month's kit!

It's filled with Prima Almanac yummy pattern papers, luscious ribbons and gorgeous buttons! Go HERE to check it out and purchase before it's too late!

Today I'll be sharing with you one of my three layouts that I made with this kit. I decided to work with my honeymoon pictures because the luxurious papers went perfectly with my formal night pictures.

This first layout was so much fun to work on! The picture was taken during the Captain's Night and we were all dressed up, hence the title "A Touch Of Elegance".

cardstock: Bazzill;
patterned paper: Prima Almanac Collection (Wordsmith, Shaffer);
letter stickers: Prima Almanac Collection (8x10 Canvas Typography Alpha Stickers);
buttons: Prima Almanac Wooden Buttons;
bling: Ranger Stickles (Diamond), Kaisercraft Rhinestones (Black);
flowers: Prima Almanac Camille flowers;
pearls: Zva Creative;
ribbon: May Arts ¾” Velvet Corduroy (Black);
ink: Tim Holtz Vintage Photo, StazOn Archival Ink (Timber Brown);
stamps: Botanical Floral 1 PreCut Set (HCPC 3406), Botanical Floral 2 PreCut Set (HCPC 3407), Vintage Life Background PreCut Set (HCPC 3367)
tools: Tim Holtz Paper Distressor, Spellbinders Rose Creations, Cuttlebug machine
other: doily, sewing machine, handmade butterflies, floss

***The BOLDED supplies are included in the Birds of a Feather April Kit or Extra Embellies Kit. Everything else is from my stash.

I handmade the cream colored roses using Heartfelt Creations stamps and Spellbinders Rose Creations dies.  The smaller flowers are Primas and the bling swirl is by Zva (sorry, it was the only black one I had in my stash!).

I added two flower buttons with tiny bows to the right side of the picture.

I used the Prima letter stickers that came with the kit for my title. Finally, I added some fluttering butterflies and called it done. :)

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. Have  a wonderful weekend!
