wednesday...Heartfelt Creations

Happy Heartfel Creations Wednesday! I'm so very exited about today since today is release day over at Heartfelt Creations blog! However, this new collection is to die for!!!!

We are delighted to present the Old English Garden Collection. Come have a cup of tea with us in our Old English Garden. With flower blooms as fresh as the morning dew and cracked walls as old as the dirt beneath it, this set offers a rustic flavor. The typography flows as smoothly as a calm spring breeze. Be sure to grab the custom die for maximum creative versatility and fun 3D depth! There are 6 new PreCut Stamp Sets and one beautiful new exclusive Spellbinders die designed for Heartfelt Creations. Leave a comment on the HC BLOG by May 15th and you will be eligible to win the entire release valued at $141.99

Because I was in the middle of my move this past week I was able to only make a card for this release but you will definitely be seeing this collection up on my future layouts very soon!

I used BoBunny Welcome Home papers for this card. I paired it with a Prima Almanac wooden button and green twine.
Photobucket
I die cut the window from both the pattern paper and the base cardstock and embossed it. I then stamped the flowers in the center to peek through the window.

Here's the inside of the card with the sentiment. What I love about these cards is that both the inside and outside get embellished in one simple step!

Here is the step by step write-up for this card:
Start with a 5”x6” cream card base. Die cut and emboss the next largest die from the Labels 4 set right in the middle of the card base. Trim a piece of pattern paper to 4.75”x5.75” and die cut and emboss the largest die from the Labels 4 set in the center of this paper. Wrap green twine around the bottom of the pattern paper and adhere the paper unto the card base. Add a button and a bow to the left side of the base. For the inside of the card, stamp the Tattered Blossoms Swirl right in the center of the base and a sentiment on the left bottom corner. Color the flowers and leaves with Primacolor Pencils and blend with OMS. Stamp and die cut two of each of the smallest size flowers from the Tattered Blossoms set. Color and layer over the stamped image. Finish by adding Gala Glitz to the flower centers.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today! Remember to go to the Heartfelt Creations BLOG and check out what the other designers made this week with the new releace!
