Other:
Fabscraps Organic Pattern Paper, Tim Holtz Distress Inks (Vintage Photo), StazOn Archival Ink (Jet Black), Melissa Francis white pearls, Rangers Stickles (icicle), Liquid Pearls (White Opal), Rangers Crackle Paint (Clear), popsicle sticks, lace, sewing machine

The picture is a professional picture that my hubby and I purchased during our honeymoon in Jamaica. We had the opportunity to swim and kiss the dolphins for a picture. I loved swimming with the dolphins!

I printed my title on a cream colored cardstock, cut it up and inked the edges. I then adhered them unto the popsicle sticks and added pearls to bling it up.

I stamped and die cut this butterfly out of a thin chipboard. I inked it a bit and added crackle distress paint. It curled up on its own and I thought it looks great when I finished!

I made a bunch of little posies in different shades of blue and white and added them throughout the peek a boo areas. I then added a drop of liquid pearl as their centers.

Of course, I had a lot of fun building my flower cluster. I used the Flora Grande and the Botanical Florals sets to make my flowers. I used two shades f blue for contrast and stamped and die cut a few leaves as well as some greenery to fill it in. I love the contrast of the blue of the flowers and the picture against the brown background paper!

Here is the step by step write-up for this layout:
Distress the edges of the brown pattern paper. Tear in random spots to create peek-a-boo areas. Ink all edges. Randomly stamp the Vintage Life Background Precut Set stamp using black archival ink on a cream cardstock. Mat brown pattern paper unto the stamped cream cardstock and mat again on a white cardstock. Cut a blue pattern paper to 8.5”x8.5”, distress the edges and place in the center of the background. Machine stitch all the layers together. Add your photo in the center of the blue square pattern paper. Tuck a piece of lace under it and a Prima flower packaging cut into a banner pendant on the right side of the picture. Die cut a Decorative Lace Border, cut in half and add only the top part to the sides of the photo. Stamp, die cut and add crackle medium to a butterfly from the Posy Patch Garden Delights Precut Set. Let dry and add to right side of photo when finished drying. For the flower cluster, stamp and die cut three different sizes, from smallest up, of the Flora Grande flowers out of blue cardstock. Use a stylus to mold each petal and adhere the layers together, adding a white pearl as a center. Make two of these blooms. For the roses, use two shades of blue, the darker one for the inside and thus the smaller dies. Use 6 different die cuts, 2 of each size to make the roses. Stamp and die cut a few leaves and swirls from the Shapeabilities Rose Creations and Decorative Dutch Iris, respectively. Adhere flowers and greenery as a cluster as shown. Stamp and die cut a few different shades of blue posies and add to peek-a-boo areas. Add your title to the popsicle sticks and add over the left side of the photo. To finish it off, randomly add small liquid pearl drops around the cluster.
