Ever since Heartfelt Creations came out with their own line of pattern paper, I've been trying to do a grid-type of layout with their journaling boxes and so this is how this layout came out! This collection is perfect for  accenting wedding pictures so I knew that I wanted to use two of my own wedding pictures.

For the background, I distressed it and made peek a boo areas and tuck in some stamped word paper to give it an antique feel. I inked everything with Distress Ink. I also matted my 3x2 quadrants with a punched cardstock to add dimension.
For each quadrant, I stamped a different accent image and used only two pictures in my layout. For this one, I stamped the background corner stamp and made some 3D flowers in pink.

For the other side of the photo, I stamped a sentiment, a mailbox from the Garden Romance collection and a few three dimensional blooms from this collection. They go together beautifully!

I though the truck was so sweet and I definitely wanted it to be able to see it so I fuzzy cut around it and pop doted over my photo to add some dimension. I made some more soft pink blooms and added them around the trcuk.

For my title, I used the Garden Romance sentiment and a sweet pink butterfly. I highlighted it with stickles to add some interest.

Finally, I stamped the flower pot in my bottom right hand corner. I stamped it twice, once directly unto the background and another time in a piece of cardstock where I colored, fuzzy cut and pop dotted over the background stamped image. I also made a few 3D flowers for this area and a butterfly. I finished it all off with some stickles to highlight the flowers and butterflies.

Here is the step by step write-up for this layout:
Punch a 10”x9” white cardstock around the page with Martha Stewart Double Loops. Trim the grid paper to have three by 2 rows. Adhere over the double loop punched cardstock. Take the green floral pattern paper and distress the edges. Make random tears to make peek a boo areas. Fuzzy cut with a craft knife the top part of the truck in the corner. Stamp the Vintage Life Background Precut Set on cream colored cardstock and adhere the green pattern paper over this stamped cardstock. Adhere these two layers over a green cardstock and add the punched layer over the background, tucking in the corner under the car. Adhere two 3”x4” pictures in the top middle and bottom left block. Stamp the Bold Vintage Floret Background Precut Set in the first top left corner block. Stamp and die cut a few blooms. Color with Prismacolor and OMS and add over the bold stamped image and use it as a shadow. Stamp and die cut a few leaves from the Botanical Floral Precut Set as well and adhere to the cluster. For the top right corner quadrant, stamp the mailbox from the Mailbox Surprise Precut Set and the sentiment from the Classic Message Precut Set. Also stamp the leaf flourish from the Vintage Floret Bouquet Precut Set and color everything with Prismacolor pencils. Stamp and die cut a few blooms and add to the right bottom corner of the photo and over the stamped leaves. Add some leaves from the Botanical Floral Precut Set as well and adhere to the cluster. For the bottom right corner, stamp the bouquet from the Vintage Floret Bouquet Precut Set in the corner. Color the leaves only. Stamp the same image on a white cardstock, color and fuzzy cut it. Layer it over the previously stamped image with pop dots to give it some dimension. Stamp, die cut and layer a few blooms over the pot for added dimension. For the bottom middle quadrant, stamp the sentiment from the Add-On Sentiment Precut Set and color using a brown Prismacolor pencil. For the bottom left quadrant, simply stamp a few more flowers, color with Prismacolor, and die cut and build a few blooms. Layer them on the bottom corner of the picture and over the truck. Add a pop dot to the truck to give it some dimension. Finally, add some white pearls to all the flowers and add stickles to their petals. Stamp and die cut a few hot pink butterflies and add them randomly to the layout.
