tuesday...giraffes (BoBunny)

Hi everyone! I hope hat you are having a great week so far! I'm back today to share another layout with you. This time, it's a fun animal layout! I  used BoBunny's Zoology papers along with some handamde flowers and Zva bling for this layout. I also used BoBunny's February Sketch.

We had the greatest opportunity of our lives to feed giraffes when we went to Busch Gardens, FL, last year and let me tell you, it was an amazing experience! You see, I love giraffes and to be so close to these gentle giants was a dream come true. BoBunny's Zoology collection was the obvious choice when it came time to scrap this trip. The colors match my nature pictures perfectly!

I found this amazing tutorial by Gabrielle Pollaco to make your own molding paste and let me tell you, this stuff works! I used Modge Podge instead of the white school glue because, well, I didn't have any! LOL
I just love the texture it gives the layout!

I handmade the fabric blooms using Gabrielle's tutorials as well. I also used some Recollections flowers and some Bitty Blossoms handmade paper flowers. The leaves I made with he Spellbinders dies using the green papers from this collection.

I distressed and machine stitched all the layers in my layout to give it a nature feel. I'm very pleased how the distressing turned out!

Some more handmade flowers, Petaloo bloom and Prima wooden button. Have I told you how much I love these little wooden buttons? i can just add them to all my nature/masculine layouts!

Another view of the distressed layers and the Zva bling. I cut the bling into pieces and tucked it in around the cluster.

Thanks for coming by again! Tomorrow I will have another Heartfelt Creations project to share with you as well as the sneak peeks for ScrapThat! March Kit (ps. it's amazing!).
