I love this new collection and the coordinating pattern papers are simply amazing! Of course, another one of my favs from this collections are the new leaves-they are releasing 5 new leaves to go with all the flowers that they have released over time! I'm stoked about this and used them all on this layout as you will see! :)

For the title, I stamped and matted a sentiment from the previous month's release-All Seasons Sentiments PreCut Set. I added it over a pre-printed journaling block and pop dotted it for dimension.

I stamped and colored one of the new dahlia cluster images and fuzzy cut it and added it over the decorative lattice swirl. I finished it off by adding some stickles to highlight its color.

I made fluffy dahlias with he Sun Kissed Fleur stamp/die combo. I think they turned out amazing with all these new leaves!

Of course, no layout of mine is finished without a butterfly or two!You can also see all the layering and texture that I achieved on this layout.

Here is the step by step write-up for this project:
Glimmer mist a white doily with yellow Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist and let it dry. Double mat your 6”x4” photo in the meantime and die cut a decorative lattice swirl. Once the doily is dry, adhere t o the background pattern paper and layer the photo and lattice over it as shown. Fuzzy cut a border from one of the pattern papers and layer under the photo along with a die cut border from the Decorative Flower Pot Die and another coordinating pattern paper strip. Stamp the All Seasons Sentiments PreCut Set on cream color cardstock and cut out the words to make your title. Leave the rest for another project. Mat your title and add on a pre-printed journaling block. Mat this title and pop dot over the left side of the photo for dimension.  Stamp and die cut using its coordinating die the Sun Kissed Fleur PreCut Set twice on a dark purple pattern paper. Slightly fold each petal in half and layer the larger flowers to form two fluffy dahlias. For the center, die cut 6 small flower centers out of yellow cardstock from the Delicate Asters Die and add to your flowers. Stamp and die cut a bunch of leaves from the new collection. Ink all the edges with distress ink and add flowers and leaves around your photo as shown. Stamp the dahlia cluster and color using Prismacolor pencils. Use Smooch Ink for the leaves. Fuzzy cut this cluster and add to the cluster on the right side of the photo. Stamp and die cut a few butterflies and add them randomly around the layout. Add rhinestones to the butterflies’ bodies and dew drops to the smaller flowers. Finally, accent the flowers and colored image with stickles.

  2. Where do I start with this glorious layout? First, I love the way you layered the dahlia stamps with the die cut flowers and leaves. It adds so much beautiful texture, color and depth to the page. The doily behind the photo draws my eye right to the center, too. Beautiful work!
