I took these pictures at Epcot's Flower Festival 2013 earlier this year. I just love their flower festival since the work they do with flowers is simply amazing! They depict every Disney character out of different colored/textured flowers and their colors are so accurate it always amazes me! These two fairies are Tinkerbell and Rosetta (I had to look up her name!) and they were absolutely gorgeous! The fairies were in the butterfly garden which was amazing and filled with butterflies and caterpillars and these two were my favorite!

I worked with the Sun Kissed Fleur PreCut Set flowers to make these gorgeous open dahlias. I added some yellow stamen to their centers and inked their edges with light purple ink. I also colored the new dahlia image and fuzzy cut it and added it to the cluster along with the new Bold Leaf Precut Set.

You can clearly see the gorgeous new leaves in this close up picture!

Here's a close up of the flower. I just love how it turned out!

I also love the new papers that came out with this new collection! The colors are simply gorgeous and I love the fact that they always come with a bunch of journaling boxes which are very useful for scrapbookers and cardmakers alike!

I fuzzy cut two of the corners from one pattern paper and layered it over this more neutral paper to give it a pop of color.

Here is the step by step write-up for this project:
Trim a pattern paper to 9”x6” and distress and machine stitch around the edges. Adhere to center of background paper. Fuzzy cut two corner clusters from the pattern paper and add to opposite corners of your layout. Mat your 3”x4” pictures in brown and add to center of layout. Add a journaling box to the top right side of the photo on the right and add your journaling. Stamp the Dahlia Bouquet with black archival ink and color using Prismacolor Pencils and blend with OMS. Use Smooch Ink for the leaves. Fuzzy cut and add stickles to accent some areas. On cream cardstock, stamp all the bold leaves with Forrest Moss distress ink and die cut using its coordinating die. Ink all edges with Vintage Photo distress ink. Stamp and die cut using its coordinating die the Sun Kissed Fleur PreCut Set twice on a cream color cardstock. Slightly fold each petal in half and layer the larger flowers to form two fluffy dahlias. For the center, die cut 5 small flower centers each out of yellow cardstock from the Delicate Asters Die and add to your flowers. Add your flowers and leaves to your layout as shown. Stamp and die cut a few butterflies and add them randomly around the layout. Add rhinestones to the butterflies’ bodies and dew drops to the smaller flowers. Accent the flowers’ centers and butterflies with stickles. Add a title to the bottom of the page.
