Happy Wednesday everyone! I can't believe that it's August already! This year is just flying by!

I wanted to make a snowy Christmas scene since in FL we don't really get this. Plus, it's 90+ degrees here in the summer so a little cool card is always refreshing!

I made this easel card using THESE instructions. I just love how these round easel cards look! I kept the colors very neutral (this Winter!) and used only green, blue and brow to highlight my stamped image.

I heat embossed the snowflakes, fuzzy cut them and pop dotted them for added dimension.

Here's another view of the front of the card. I also added stickles to highlight the snowy areas.

For the inside of the card I stamped and die cut some poinsettias and made white poinsettias. I then added some leaves and the sentiment.

Here is the step by step write-up for this project:
Start by making your base 6” for the easel card out of black cardstock. HERE is a good tutorial on how to make a circle easel card. Die cut two 5.75” circles for the front and inside of the card from the matching papers from the Daphne Paper Collection. For the front of the card, stamp the image in the center and the sentiment on top. Color in the image with just a blue, green and brown Prismacolor Pencil. Ink all the edges of this layer and adhere to the front of the card. Stamp two snowflakes on vellum and heat emboss it with white embossing powder. Fuzzy cut around them and pop dot on your card front as shown. For the inside of the card, add your 5.75” die cut circle to the base. Stamp and die cut using the coordinating die two of each size poinsettias in white and heat emboss them using white embossing powder on white cardstock. Add rhinestones to the poinsettias’ centers. Make some leaves as well and add these poinsettias to the inside of the card. Stamp the All Seasons Sentiments PreCut Set on cream colored cardstock and cut out the words Merry Christmas and add it to the inside. Use stickles to highlight the colored image on the front of the card.
