This collection is simply gorgeous and the new poinsettia flowers stamps are so much fun to work with! The new poinsettia stamp works with the Sun Kissed Fleur Die so you cut 8 flowers and two leaves with each pas through the die cutting machine! For the next few layouts I actually cut a 12"x12" sheet of pattern paper in 6 and stamped and die cut all the individual flowers and sorted them by size. That way, as I was working on my layouts and projects, all I had to do was choose the sizes I needed for each flowers and shape them as I wanted! This process cut my flower-making in half and this layout took less than 30 mins to complete!

In this collection there are two tree/banner dies and I decided to use one of them to make my own chipboard tree! It cut and embossed beautifully (how many people have embossed chipboard pieces!). I used tiny pearls and added these to the center of the embossed poinsettia flowers and inked the chipboard edges.

These are the flowers that I made. I simply added a large white pearl to their center. I stamped and colored two pinecones and fuzzy cut them and added them to my cluster. I added a double white bow to tie them in together.

Here's a better look at all the embellies that I made. I used the second 'tree' die to make my own lace border. I simply trimmed the border to shorten it a bit and tucked it in under the photo. The picture is of my mom and I during Christmas of last year. See the family resemblance? :)

I love the Joy sentiment stamp in this kit! Is so beautiful and a great size for a title!

Here is the step by step write-up for this project:
Trim a piece of pattern paper to 6.5”x10” and punch around the border using Martha Stewart punch. Distress the edges with ink and by crumbling them to make it look old. Add to dark green background pattern paper. Stamp the Holiday Script Background Precut Set using Antique Linen distress ink all over the background. Stamp the word Joy on the top right side of the paper. On a separate cream color cardstock, stamp the Holiday Script Background Precut Set again with black archival ink this time and trim out a piece of the sentiment and add over the title Joy. Mat a 4”x4” photo and add to center of the pattern paper layer. Die cut 3 banners out of brown cardstock and cut them down to size and tuck in under the photo as shown. Die cut the tree die out of thin chipboard and emboss it. Randomly ink some areas to give it dimension and add over the left side of the photo. Add tiny pearls to the embossed poinsettia flowers. Stamp the largest circle sentiment from the Christmas Sentiment Circles Precut Set and two pines from the Elegant Joy Precut Set onto brown cardstock. Die cut the sentiment with a large circle die. Emboss and ink the edges. Color the pine cones and fuzzy cut them out. Add stickles and put them aside to dry. On white cardstock, stamp a bunch of leaves from the Holly Berry PreCut Set and color the leaves and berries using Prismacolor pencils and distress markers. Die cut these leaves using the coordinating die. For the flowers, stamp and die cut the Christmas poinsettia Precut Set a few times. Shape each layer individually and layer to form full and different size flowers. Add a white pearl to their center. Add the flowers, leaves, die cut sentiment circle and pine cones around the photo as shown. Make a quick small white bow and add over the pinecones. Finally, add stickles to the berries for added shimmer.
