HCDP1 266 Under the Sea Collection

Other Products: Tsukineko StazOn Jet Black, Tim Holtz Distress Ink (Wild HoneyWalnut StainVintage Photo), Ranger Inkssentials Ink Blending Tool, Rangers Stickles (Diamond), Tim Holtz Paper Distresser, Prismacolor Premier Colored Pencils (PC939, PC1003, PC1034, PC903, PC947, PC901, PC908), Gamblin Gamsol Odorless Mineral Spirits Bottle, Viva Decor .8-Ounce Creamy Paper Pen Color, Cream, embossing tool, sewing machine

I took this picture on our honeymoon cruise in Roatan (Honduras) from the cruise ship. It was soooo gorgeous! The new Under the Sea Collection is perfect to scrap it!

I used the Arianna Blooms Cling Stamp Set and the Delicate Asters PreCut Set to make some yellow blooms.I stamped and colored the turtles, jellyfish and coral and added them to my cluster.

The papers in this collection are simply gorgeous! I layered a few to draw the eye to my photo in the center of the page!

Here's one last view at my full layout:

Here is the step by step write-up for this project:
Distress the edges of a 12”x12 pattern paper with the Tim Holtz paper distresser tool and machine stitch all around it. Distress and ink a 7.5”x10.5” patter paper, machine stitch around the edges and add over center of page. Layer your photo over two coordinating pattern papers and add it over the center of the page. Die cut a border from the Regal Borders and Pockets Dies and tuck it in under the photo. Stamp the coral, jellyfish and 2 turtled from the Under the Sea Coral stamp set on white cardstock, color these images using Prismacolor Pencils and blend them with OMS. Die cut the stamped images using the coordinating die. Stamp and die cut using its coordinating die the Delicate Asters PreCut Set and Arianna Blooms Cling Stamp Set flowers. Ink the flowers with Wild Honey distress ink to color. Shape and layer these flowers and add pearls to their centers. Stamp and die cut a few leaves from the Open Leaf PreCut Set as well. Arrange these stamped and die cut elements over the bottom right side of the photo. Fussy cut a few shells from the preprinted pattern papers and arrange them as a cluster on the bottom of the photo along with a preprinted fussy cut tag for title. Add a few pearls around the shells and add stickles to the shells and coral, jellyfish and turtles to give them some shimmer.
