I did some more mixed media in my layout (I think I'm getting the hang of this!) and embossed the gorgeous gate in white. I also made an array of colorful presents and pop dotted them to make them stand out more and give them dimension. I used crackle paint on one (well, 3 die cut and stacked) vines and used it to frame the photo.

Here you can see the layers and dimensions on this layout!

I just love the sweet wreath in this month's release and I used it on my layout to balance the bottom-heavy layout.

Here is the step by step write-up for this project:
Trim a pattern paper from the Celebrate the Season Paper Collection to 11"x11" and distress the edges with the Tim Holtz Edge Distressor. Machine stitch this layer unto a coordinating pattern paper from the same collection. Dilute some gesso with water and brush it crisscrossed on the background to give it a washed out look in the center of the page. Make random splatters of gesso and set aside to dry. Die cut 3 white vines from Celebrate the Season Die and stack them together to get some thickness. Cover it with white crackle paint and set aside to dry as well. Stamp the gate on light blue pattern paper and emboss with white embossing powder. Die cut and add over the splattered gesso. Add the 4"x6" photo over the gate and tuck in three medium size tags on the left side of the photo. Stamp and die cut the small and bigger poinsettias and holly on purple pattern paper. Stamp the skates, wreath, two of each gifts, and three leaf vines on white cardstock. Color these images using the Prismacolor Pencils and blend them together using Odorless Mineral Spirits. Die cut with their coordinating dies. Add glitter to all of these elements and once they dry, add them to your layout as shown. Finish your flowers with small liquid pearl dots in the center and add a tag title among the gifts and flower cluster.
