friday...Heartfelt Creations January Alumni Hop

We have a lot of birthdays in January it seems so I pulled out my Lush Lilac Paper Collection and made this card for my best friend's birthday! I used the Lush Lilac Cling Stamp Set with it's coordinating die to make the blooms and the Sweet Lilac Scroll & Notes Cling Stamp Set with its coordinating die to make the scroll with the sentiment. I used the Decorative Medallion Die to make the pretty background. It adds a touch of elegance to the card to have it shaped like that.

    I love how you'Ve done the shading on the buds a leaves - perfect colors! And that lilac peaking out at the shaped edge is awesome!

    The Lush Lilac Collection is one of my favorite collections. The cut-away of the front side of your card is a nice feature. I also like how you carried your 3D design to the inside of your card.

    I love the lush lilac collection. I use these tiny flowers or fleurettes I suppose on all sorts of things. They're great.

    Lilacs are one of my favorite flowers (roses #1), for fragrance they are probably #1 - I could almost smell their sweet fragrance when I saw your beautiful card. I am so looking forward to my lilacs, roses and hydrangeas blooming again your card is a lovely reminder that spring is around the corner. I like the thought you put into your card, lilacs given the chance will surely climb. The colors are spot on and I love paper manipulation, I call it therapy flowers. Nice. Appreciate the details.
