Hello everyone! It's still pretty warm in sunny Florida so I made a summer card for our September blog hop! My card measures 5.5" x 5.5" and I used the gorgeous the Lush Lilac for the pattern paper.
For the flowers, I used the rose stamps and matching dies to make my purple roses. I used prills for their centers and the leaves from the Classic Rose Cling Stamp Set and it's matching die. I used the Cottage Lifestyle Cling Stamp Set for the chair swing and it's matching die and I colored it with Prismacolor Pencils.

Here's a close up of my card:

  13. Hmm, every time I see those curled, frayed edges I say to myself gotta use this technique; but, I seem to forget by the time I make a card. Thanks to you I wrote it down and put it my card base stash - don't have to rely on my old, forgetful memory! It does give a wonderful effect to your card and those flowers - scrumptuous! Love the the way you shaped the leaves in an undulating pattern with a touch of sparkle at the end of the petals.
