wednesday...Heartfelt Creations

Happy 4th of July everyone! My hubby and I will be spending it with our friends at a BBQ and then we will be shooting some fireworks tonight! Should be fun!

So, today is Wednesday which means that I get to share with you another Heartfelt Creations projects! Today's project is actually a sympathy card which I made in a red/white/blue color palette.

Supplies-
Heartfelt Creations:
HCPC 3377 Sympathy Sentiment Precut Set
HCPC 3460 Morning on the Farm Precut Set
HCD 720 Western Broncos Die
354802 Classic Oval Lg
DDOTS Double Dots 100pc.

Other:
Recollections Cardstock (brown, cream), Bazzill cardstock (green), Tim Holtz Distress Inks (Vintage Photo), StazOn Archival Ink (Timber Brown), Recollections White Pearls, Rangers Stickles (Diamond), Tim Holtz paper distresser tool, Prismacolor Pencils (PC901, PC908, PC924, PC945, PC947, PC1034), OMS, Shapeabilities Labels 18, Victoria A2 Embossing Folder, white ribbon, sewing machine, Cuttlebug

The card measures 5"x6" and I used the barn image from the Morning on the Farm Precut Set. I colored the image with my prismacolor pencils and blended them with OMS (love this stuff!). I added some stickles to highlight some areas of the card too.

Below are a few close ups of the card:

Here is the step by step write-up for this card:
Start with a 5”x6” card base. Cut another brown cardstock to 4.75”x5.75” and emboss it with the Victoria A2 Embossing Folder. Ink the corners and some of the raised embossing with Vintage Photo. Machine stitch this layer and add to background card base. Add a large red banner pendant over the center of the card and then add a white ribbon over it as well. Stamp the barn scene and color using Prismacolor pencils and blend them with OMS. Die cut the scene with the largest labels 18 Shapeabilities, emboss it, and ink the edges. Pop dot the scene and add over center of card. Stamp the sentiment unto cream, colored cardstock and die cut and emboss using the second smallest oval. Ink some areas to give it a vintage feel. Die cut the foliage from the Western Broncos Die set and add sentiment over it and adhere to corner of image. To finish it off, add stickles randomly to the scene to highlight some areas and add two large pearls to the sides.
