HCD 787 Sunrise Lily Die

Last time I designed for Heartfelt Creations I was very pregnant with my baby boy, who just turned 2 years old! My! How time flies!!! This picture I used for my layout this week is of me at about 20 weeks pregnant that my husband took while hiking (yes, we walked and hiked up til delivery!).

I used the gorgeous Sunrise Lily Cling Stamp Set and its coordinating die to make my flowers. I just love lilies (it's actually my mom's nickname for me!- Lili) and I even made my own tutorial and flower back in 2010! That's 6 years ago! But these are so much better looking and easier to make!

Here's a close up of the flowers. i had so much fun making these!

Here's a close up of the full layout. You can see how much texture and depth this layout has!

Here's one last look at the layout:

Here is the step by step write-up for this project:
Stamp a few leaves from the Open Leaf PreCut Set on green cardstock randomly and the Large Elegant Word Background on cream cardstock to make your own pattern paper. Distress the edges of the two cardstocks and layer a 6"x4" photo over it. Adhere over center of background paper from the Sunrise Lily Paper Collection. Cut two circles, 4" and 5" in diameter, from a contrasting pattern paper, ink the edges and tuck in under the photo on opposite ends. For the flowers, stamp and die cut them with its coordinating die. Make 4 large and 4 small flowers using the Sunrise Lily Cling Stamp. Color with Prismacolor Pencils and blend with OMS. Shape your lilies and add glitter to their centers before putting them together. Stamp the swirl leaves twice from the Enchanted Dragonflies Cling Stamp Set unto green cardstock and die cut using its coordinating die. Cut each one of them apart in half. Cluster the flowers, leaves and swirl leaves on the bottom right corner and middle left side of the photo as shown. Stamp, color and die cut using its coordinating die the butterflies from the Butterfly Medley Cling Stamp Set. Shape them and add them randomly to the layout. Add a title over the top side of the layout. Finally, add a pre-printed fussy cut tag from the Sunrise Lily Paper Collection to the top left side cluster and embellish the butterflies with liquid pearl drops.

Thanks for stopping by! Remember to go to the Heartfelt Creations BLOG and check out what the other designers made this week! Have a great rest of the week!
