Hello all! Welcome to my blog! First of all, Happy Birthday Rebekah! In honor of her birthday weekend, we are doing a blog hop and this is only your 4th stop. Today I have a quick tutorial for you. Many have asked me how do I do the paper roses that I use in a lot of my layouts and today is your day because I have put together a quick tutorial on them. This is my quick version of Tim Holtz's roses.
Here's the card that I made with this rose:
and here are some of my past layouts where I've used this technique:
Now, hop on to Helena Virpi's blog for more fun!
Thanks for stopping by! :)
PS. This blog hop started at Rebekah's blog. Also, don't forget to stop by and say 'Happy Birthday' since this blog hop is in her honor after all! :)
You make it look so easy!! I'll def be having a go at these. And your LOs are just stunning. Thank you so much for joining in with the blog hop. It's a pleasure having you be a part of it :) x

I will most certainly have a go at these you make them look doable I dont have a good punch but I do have one that might do alma xx
ReplyDeleteThese roses are just stunning. Nice to know they can be made with ordinary CS as I have no grungepaper. That final LO is just gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful! I too don't have, can't get, grungpaper so it's great to be able to have a go with cardstock... just hope mine turn out half as pretty!
ReplyDeleteI learned to do my roses with grungepaper (from Wendy Vecchi) but I have then tried it with double-sided patterned paper and it turned out beautiful. Now I'm going to try it with cardstock. Imagine all the colors you can create with inks and mists, yeeeh.
ReplyDeleteLovely flowers and a great tutorial - I shall definitely have a go at making some of these!

they were much harder to do than they look. I think it was because I had to hand draw my flowers as I don't have a die cutting machine. Thanks for the inspiration!
