My first layout is based on my sketch for ScrapThat! August Kit.

"I said yes"

This layout is based on my sketch for this month. I simply mirrored it to make it work better with my photo. I used the Main Kit and The Embellishment Add On for this layout. The doilies and black background cardstock are from my stash. The picture was taken back in 2008 by my mother-in-law during our self-guided engagement photo shoot. I just loved this shot and had to include it in my wedding album! I made some big blooms with the cream colored cardstock and the pearl brad that are included in this month's kit. I'll have a tutorial on how to make these later this month.

For this layout, I only used the Main Kit. The white doily is from my stash and the blue alphas in the title are from the June Kit. These pictures were taken at our new home, out in the Jacuzzi. I love how soft and summery this layout turned out! I handmade my own flowers and leaves using Heartfelt Creations dies.

I used the Main Kit and the Embellishment Add On for this layout. This layout is based on Kaisercraft's Saturday July Sketch #2 and I used a picture of my mom last year. She is not very photogenic so this one is one of the best ones I had of her. :)

I traced the diecut paper that is included int his month's kit unto this pink paper and cut around it to make my own die cut paper. I made some roses out of the brown pattern paper and made a little banner using the rub-ons, alphas and a piece of hemp cord from my stash.
