Good evening everyone! I'm back today sharing with you a few more cards that i made for Operation Write Home. I'm ready to ship my first batch tomorrow morning!
My first card is based on the Our Daily Bread Designs April Challenge which is "Things that Fly" so, of course I had to add a butterfly to my card!
I used Heartfelt Creations stamps and papers for this card.
Here are some close ups:
My second card is based on OWH Sketch #169:
and here's my take:
I made this card using papers from my scraps drawers only and I have to say, I love how it turned out!
Here's a quick close up:
Finally, my last set of 4 cards are based on the same OWH Sketch #168:
I made four AnyHero cards using the same papers and design. The sentiment is a freebie from OWH that you can find HERE. So, what are AnyHero cards?
"These are cards and letters (or, with kids they can be coloring pages) from people across America with messages of gratitude and encouragement inside. We call them “AnyHero” letters because they’re going to be given out by our contacts to those who get little or no mail. "
Here's a close up of one of them:
Thanks for stopping by my blog today. I really appreciate your comments! Have a great week! :)
Your cards are all very professional! Especially love the "hero" card!
ReplyDeleteGreat cards! The red ribbon on the first is the perfect pop of color!
ReplyDeleteI love the first 2 girly cards, Amarilys! So pretty with the stamps!
ReplyDeleteThe hero cards are so awesome and so wonderful for you to do this! Very inspiring for me to do the same! Blessings! Kathy
Beautiful collection of cards, and congrats on completing your first box for OWH. Love what you did with the sketch card. The embossed circle and button adds so much interest. I'll have to borrow the idea of using embossed shapes as accents. Love it! Thanks for playing!
ReplyDeleteYour cards are wonderful! I have looked at them several times and I must say that I love all the little details. You obviously put a lot of care into what you have created and it truly shows.
ReplyDeleteWow, these are all so great! I'm so glad that you have joined us at OWH! We are so lucky to have you and your beautiful work!
ReplyDeleteVery exquisite cards. The flower card is so rich in color. did you use copics or pencils? The sentiment in your hero card was very touching! You are inspiring me to do one.
ReplyDeleteThank You Diane for your sweet comment! Believe it or not, I used Crayola coloring pencils to color my flower (second card) and blended them with OMS. Hope this helps and if you have any more questions, let me know :)
