You know for the most part I'm a layout maker who sometimes tries to make some cards but I had so much fun making this mini! I used this tutorial for the mini but instead of 2.75”, I made my album 4” tall.
Here is the step by step write-up for this project:
You can find the instructions for the mini album HERE.
Instead of 2.75”, I made my album 4” tall. Ink all the edges of the album
before you start. Stamp the flourish from the Elegant Joy Precut Set with
Antique Linen distress ink on the front of the mini before you do anything.
Trim out 8 journaling cards for the front and back and inside and ink all the
edges. After you adhere these journaling boxes to the mini album, you can start
decorating it. I left the front and back plain because I love the pattern
paper. Before you go any further, stamp and die cut a bunch of poinsettia
flowers and layer them together to form full flowers. Add dew drops as their
centers and leave them aside to use as needed. For the small flap in the front,
simply add a large poinsettia to the center. For the first page, print a photo
2”x3”, mat it and adhere it to the center of the mini page. Die cut two
snowflakes and layer the over each other using a pop dot for dimension. Add a
circle sentiment and a small poinsettia. For the second page, stamp the Holiday
Script Background Precut Set directly on it and add one large poinsettia to the
bottom left corner and three smaller ones to the top right corner. For the
third page, stamp the second largest circle sentiment unto a white cardstock
and die cut a doily from the Shapeabilities Asian Accents with the sentiment in
the center. Add a small poinsettia over their center. For the fourth page, add
another 2”x3” photo to the bottom left corner of the page and add a large
poinsettia and leaves to the top right corner. For the fifth page, die cut the
Christmas tree from the Banner and Trees die set and add stickles to it. Put it
aside to dry. Once it dries, add to center of the page. Die cut three photos
into 1” circles and add them as ornaments over the die cut tree. Add a
glittered snowflake and small poinsettia flower to each ornament as an
embellie. For the sixth page, add a matter 3”x2” photo to the top of the page
and add a border to its bottom side. Add a large poinsettia to the page as well
as some leaves. Add a Velcro fastener to hold the book together.

This is just so beautiful. I love all your elegant details, and I'm so glad you shared photos of them all. The color palette is striking, and I really like the closure. I'm going to have to try my hand at one of these.
