wednesday...Heartfelt Creations-New Release!

Happy Wednesday! Today is the second Wednesday of the month which means that Heartfelt Creations is debuting a collection today!

We are pleased to introduce the Sweet Juliet Collection. This collection is inspired by the beauty of ancient rooms locked away and laden with antique treasures. These rooms are filled with yellow candlelight and dusty vases. Crinkly letters lay scattered around, turning crisp and fading more every day. A postcard lays covered in thick dust, forgotten in a dark corner. Wildflowers lay around, as crisp and crinkled as the beautiful wallpapers. Using these detailed floral and typographical stamps, complemented by black, gold and burgundy papers will enable you to create an outstanding classical creation.

I know I say this about every collection but this one is just gorgeous! The papers are simply amazing and so are the new stamps and dies! Here I used them for a picture of my best friend with her sweet baby girl.

I fuzzy cut the title and added a sweet ticket word to the top left corner over half a doily from the Artistic Gatefold Collection.


I added a few layers of pattern paper and lace under the picture to soften it a bit. Isn't that green vine sweet? It's one of the new dies released this month!


Of course, I made a bunch of flowers with the new dies as well! I used them as flower centers as well as alone to make a radiating bloom.


I misted a doily pink and stamped another sentiment right next tot he photo.. I just love all the texture and dimension this layout has!

Here is the step by step write-up for this project:

Glimmer mist a doily with Pink Bubblegum glimmer mist and let it dry. Stamp the flower sentiment on the right side of the doily and adhere to background pattern paper. Mat the photo and use a decorative scissors around the photo mat. Adhere photo over mat and over the pink doily. Tuck in strips of pattern paper and lace under the photo. Die cut the largest half doily from the Layered Scalloped Posy Die and glimmer mist in pink as well. Adhere over the top left corner of the layout. Add a small piece of ribbon and a ticket word die cut from the pattern paper. Stamp and color using the distress ink the sentiment and fuzzy cut. Add over the top left corner of the photo and add stickles to highlight the leaves. Stamp and die cut using the coordinating die some tattered florals and add the new flower center die cut to the center. Finish each flower with a white pearl and stickles. Die cut two of the flower centers but leave open. Stagger the petals and add a Prima flower center to the center of the flower Make two of these. Stamp and die cut a few green leaves from the Open Leaf PreCut Set as well as the new die cut leaves from the Sweet Juliet Die. Arrange all the flowers and leaves into a cluster under the photo.
