I made this pull out card for my friend Leanne who was kind enough to send me the newest baby boy collection from Close to my Heart! The papers and colors are perfect for what I have in mind for my little guy's album! (Thank you so much again Leanne!)
For this card, I cut and embossed two of each of the Decorative Flower Pot Die out of different colored pattern papers from the Daphne Paper Collection. I added the Timeless Amour Die in brown to the top and made a pull out tag out of the smaller flower pot. I adhered 3 sides of the larger pot only, leaving the top open for the tag to go in. I used the Thanks a Bunch! stamp from the Heartfelt Expressions PreCut Set because I thought it was so fitting for the bouquet that I was trying to make out of this card.
This is how it pulls out of the larger pot. I used the Brookside Manor PreCut Set and it's coordinating die for the pink butterfly to give the card some pop of color!
I decorated the front of the smaller pot using the butterflies from the Brookside Manor PreCut Set and THIS sentiment stamp. I added tiny drops of liquid pearl to the brown die cut on top.
I left the back side blank so I can jot down a thank you note for her.
For the flowers, I stamped two different sizes from the Open Vintage Floret PreCut Set and Mini Vintage Floret PreCut Set and cut them with the Vintage Floret Die. these flowers are still some of my favorite to make! I stamped the leaves from the Beautiful You PreCut Set on light green cardstock and cut it with it's coordinating die. I then inked the edges and shaped the leaves with the embossing tool.
