and here's the layout that I made:
For this nature layout I used the Sunny Day Paper Collection papers because this collection was perfect for my pictures that were taken late last year when hubby and I went hiking one afternoon close by to our home.
I used the Sun Kissed Fleur stamps and dies to make my distressed, vintage flowers and the Open Leaf PreCut Set and their coordinating dies for the leaves. I inked the edges and shaped them with my fingers and a large embossing tool.
I added 2 doilies to soften the edges of the layers that I distressed and inked. I used Thickers alphas for the title and added a few printed butterflies for a pop of color to my very monochromatic layout.
Here's another view of the flower cluster.
I loved working on these vintage flowers! I distressed them with water and pinched each petal to achieve this look. I then added the flower centers to the smallest bloom in each cluster after layering them to give them some dimension.
I journaled directly unto my layout because a big part of scrapbooking is preserving those memories!
Thanks for visiting and taking your time to comment on my blog!
