I have a masculine, romantic card to share with you today:
My hubby and I are celebrating our 6th year anniversary and this is the card that I made for him! I always struggle with making masculine cards but I find masculine romantic cards even harder to make!
I stamped and die cut the background leaves on brown cardstock and matted it over the cream colored base. I free-handed and cut a heart out of burlap and added it to the center of the card. I die cut a red heart, embossed it and added over the burlap heart for added texture and contrast. Finally, I stamped and added the sentiment over the hearts and placed a number 6 (signifying the 6 year anniversary) over the corner of the sentiment.
I wanted to go for a clean and simple but textured and striking card for my hubby. He can definitely appreciate a good card but, for obvious reasons, is not too much into flowers and frilly cards. :)
