wednesday...Heartfelt Creations

Welcome back bloggers! It has been so hot in FL this summer and I'm ready for Fall and some cooler weather but in the meantime when our temps are still reaching the upper 90s, I thought I'd make a snowy scene card!

Supplies:
Luggage and Tags Die, HCD1-745
Crystal Ultrafine Transparent Glitter, 85-glitter
Snow Kissed Spruce Cling Stamp Set, HCPC-3749
Frolicking Frosty Cling Stamp Set, HCPC-3750
Snow Kissed Flakes and Tag Die, HCD1-7108
Snow Kissed Paper Collection, HCDP1-269
Other Materials:
Spellbinders Circle Dies, Cuttlebug Die Cutting Machine, StazOn Archival Ink (Jet Black), Prismacolor Pencils (PC908, PC912, PC946), Odorless Mineral Spirits, embossing tool, liquid pearls, white puffy paint

Here's a close up of the card:

Here is the step by step write-up for this project:
Trim a card front from the Snow Kissed Paper Collection and add over a 5.5"x4.25" white card front. Die cut the large snowflake and adhere it to the center fo the card. Stamp carriage ride image on white cardstock and color it with Prismacolor Pencils and blend them with Odorless Mineral Spirits. Die cut and emboss the image with a Spellbinders circle die. Stamp three trees from the Snow Kissed Spruce Cling Stamp Set, color with the coloring pencils, and die cut with its matching die. Add puffy paint to the areas on the trees and on the stamped and colored image that you want to see the snow. Before it dries, sprinkle some fine glitter over it and set aside to dry. Once it dies, add the circle stamped image on top of the snowflake and add the trees around it as shown. Die cut a tag from the pattern paper using the Luggage and Tags Die and add to the right of the card. Finish the card off by adding tiny liquid pearl dots to the large snowflake and the tag.

Thanks for stopping by! Remember to go to the Heartfelt Creations BLOG and check out what the other designers made this week! Have a great rest of the week!
