thursday...

Today I have a layout to share with you. This page came up together pretty much by itself and I love how it came out!

I was inspired by Color Combo Challenge 161 but added a hint of green to accent the picture. Here's the palette:

I was also inspired by Let's Scrap left side of the 9-29-10 sketch. Here it is:

The pictures were taken last week by my husband when we went for a walk at the park. The smaller pieces of pattern paper are actually digital that I recolored and printed to use in this layout. I handmade the Mountain Lily flowers using my tutorial. The other flower was part of a bouquet from Michaels. The round picture is actually pop dotted to give it dimension and this works wonderfully. I hand stitched the circle using floss. This process took almost an hour but I think it makes the page!

Thanks for stopping by! I'll leave you with some close ups:

  1. For just kinda happening, it's amazing! Then again, I like a lot of what you create, so that may be biased on truth. Who knows? I'm trying to conquer that sketch, too. Great job turning it into a single page.
