Here is what we are making:
Supplies
- cardstock: white for matting the pendant;
- patterned paper: scraps of pattern paper;
- ink: Tim Holtz Vintage Photo
- tools: Tim Holtz Tonic Paper Edge Distresser;
- other: shaped scissors, floss
Step 1: Hand draw your own shape in a scrap of paper or use my picture above as a guide.
Step 2: Using your template, trace the shape on the scraps of papers and cut them out. Distress using the Tim Holtz Tonic Paper Edge Distresser and ink the edges with Tim Holtz Vintage Photo.
Step 3: Using a pair of shaped scissors (I used a scallop one), cut around the shape to make an outline and finish your banner.
Step 4: Cut off the corners of the pendants, fold them to make the triangle shape, and glue the pieces along the floss like in the picture above.
There you have it! Embellish with flowers, add letters, bling-whatever you want and add to your project!
Here is the card that I made using this banner and here is my tutorial for the shrink plastic letters that I used for this banner:

Hope you enjoy this quick tutorial. Use up those scraps of papers to make wonderful homemade banners!
