wednesday...AWDML June 1 Reveal-Pink Paislee

Hello everyone! Today is June first which means another reveal for AWDML! This month's featured manufacturers are Pink Paislee and My Favorite Things. I'll be sharing my projects with you using Pink Paislee products.

Supplies-cardstock: Colorbok; patterned paper: Pink Paislee (Queen Bee-Queen Bee, Worker Bee); letter sticker: Pink Paislee; rub-ons: My Mind's Eye; flowers: Prima, Petaloo; pen: Sharpie; ink: Tim Holtz (Vintage Photo); tools: Tim Holtz (Paper Distressor); other: hemp rope, buttons

This layout is based on my brand new sketch (below) and the pictures are of my hubby feeding the geese couple in a park by our house. When they first arrived here, the geese were scared of people but now they run up to you honking. I love them!

I used Pink Paislee's Queen Bee pattern paper because well, I love them! I also used a small border from Sassafras, a Prima packaging and a white Bazzill cardstock. I did some water distressing on the Pink Paislee pattern paper and inked the edges with Tim Holtz's ink.

For the title, I made my own alphas. I designed them on photoshop and printed them out.

The green letters are Pink Paislee alpha stickers. The flowers are a mixture of Primas and Petaloo. I did some fuzzy cutting for the Pink Paislee Queen Bee leaves and added them to my cluster. These are my fav leaves of all time! I used buttons tinted brown with alcohol inks and added a small hemp rope knot as a center. Instead of flowers, I used dragonflies and I absolutely love how they look!

Here is the sketch:

For my next layout, I had a lot of fun experimenting with inks and resist papers!

Supplies- cardstock: Colorbok; patterned paper: Pink Paislee-Parisian Anthology (Beautiful butterfly, Divine Damask); chipboard: Thickers flowers: Recollections; pearls: Prima E Line; trims: Websters; pen: Sharpie bling: Glimmer Mist (Olive Green), Stickles (Star Dust); ink: Tim Holtz (Vintage Photo, Peeled Paint); tools: Tim Holtz (Paper Distressor, Alcohol ink applicator); other: decorative scissors,

The picture was taken this Easter before hubby and I went to church. I loved working with Pink Paislee Anthology Collection. I used Tim Holtz's Peeled Paint ink for my background.

I distressed my edges using Tim Holtz's paper distressor for a distressed look. I made a scallop edge on the other resist paper and used the Vintage Photo ink to color it. I left the opposite side of the resist paper as is because I loved the cream color with the scripts. I only distressed the edges and inked them lightly to make them stand out more.

I handmade my own pearl bling with 3D paint and acetate. I handmade my own Mountain Lili flowers in cream/yellow and a few Recollections yellow roses and two Recollections white flowers to finish my cluster. I finished this corner off by adding some stamped leaves, a few butterflies and some loose pearls.

I used glittery green Thickers letters for my title and used the number 3 for my e's since I had run out of e's. I finished by adding a green Websters trim below my title.

Finally, I made a card using some leftovers from my fist layout.

Supplies- patterned paper: Pink Paislee (Queen Bee-Queen Bee); trims: Pink Paislee ink: Tim Holtz (Vintage Photo); bling: stickles (Star Dust); punch: Martha Stewart; other: flowers from Michaels's flower dept

I used Pink Paislee's ribbon trims, the packaging and scraps from the Queen Bee's paper that I used in the first layout. I added a few flowers from Michaels's flower department that I've had in my stash for years and a few more fuzzy cut leaves.

To finish it off, I added two of my paper pieced bumblebees and a handmade title.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today! :)
