tuesday...AWDML September 1 Reveal-American Crafts (2/3)

I hope that everyone had a wonderful Labor Day weekend! I definitely did since my hubby and I went back home to visit our parents and friends and had a BBQ on Labor Day!

Today I want to show you two layouts that I made using yet again with the American Crafts Campy Trails Collection. These next two layouts are not double pagers but they do face each other in the baby's album so I made them match by using the same pattern papers.

These are the two pages side by side so you can get a feel of how they two different themes can flow together in an album.

Now, here is the left side, which is the baby's delivery layout:

Supplies-
cardstock: American Craft-(Chestnut, Lagoon)
patterned paper: American Crafts-Campy Trails (Buffalo Lake, Caribou Creek, Wolf Creek);
letter stickers: Basic Grey Micro Mono Alpha Stickers Olivia;
alphas: American Crafts Thicker Stickers Foam Giggles Blue;
ribbon: American Crafts-Baby Mockingbird;
other: mulberry paper, vellum paper

I left enough room for two 4"x6" pictures and a 3"x4" picture or the baby's footprients since she requested the space for it (the smaller light blue mat).

I added 2 smaller tags behind it so that she can journal about the miracle of his birth day (he was a premie) and/or add smaller pictures. I also added his name to one of the tags to personalize the page.

I'll have a quick tip/technique on how I made this diecut paper tomorrow here and on AWDML's blog so don't forget to come back and check us out!

For the right side, I made it the first bath layout since he was bathed right after being born and I thought it would be appropriate to include this page here.

Supplies-
cardstock: American Craft-(Chestnut, Lagoon)
patterned paper: American Crafts-Campy Trails (Buffalo Lake, Caribou Creek, Wolf Creek);
ribbon: American Crafts-Baby Mockingbird;
other: mulberry paper, vellum paper,

I kept pretty much the same design and pattern papers for this page since it was going opposite to the Delivery page and I wanted them to flow.

I added a little tear bear taking a bath and a whole bunch of stickled vellum bubbles. I thought these looked so cute! I machine stitched everything because I thought it gave it a masculine touch to the page.

For the title, I cut out a splat using my Pazzles Inspiration and I stickled the sides to make it stand out. I used Thickers in blue for the title to add some dimension to the layout.

I loved working on these two pages and although it was a bit challenging to come up with 2 different layouts that matched and flowed together, I managed to do it by using the American Crafts Campy Trails Collection.

Thank you for stopping by today! Please come back tomorrow as I'll have some tips and techniques on how to make your own diecut papers using the pattern on the paper that you are using already!
