thursday...Lily Flower Tutorial

Welcome back! Today I want to share the tutorial that I promised yesterday on how to make these Lily Flowers.

Name: Lily Flowers
Supplies:

Step 1. Stamp and die cut two large flowers from the Malabar Clematis Precut Set with StazOn Archival Ink.

Step 2. Color each flower with Prismacolor Pencils (PC1034) and blend in using OMS. Snip in between each petal a little bit so that you can shape the flower later.

Step 3. Add puffy paint around the edges and in the center of each flower and let it dry (about 30 mins).

Step 4. Once dry, lightly apply hear with an embossing tool to make the paint puff up. BEWARE: Do not get it too close or heat it up too long or it will burn (and possibly catch on fire).

Step 5. Using your fingers, lift up each petal to give the flower dimension. Layer them on top of each other staggering the petals. You can leave them as is at this point or bling them up a bit more. You can add stickles (Diamond) over the puffy paint and (Cinnamon) over the petal veins as I did.

Here's my finished flower again:

For the smaller ones, just use a smaller size flower and only one layer.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope that you enjoyed this tutorial! :)
