Happy Sunday! Today I want to share another layout that I made with Birds of a Feather April Kit. I'm also entering this layout in the April SwirlyHues Challenge since their colors (and kit!) are the same!
As I mentioned earlier, this kit is filled with Prima Almanac yummy pattern papers, luscious ribbons and gorgeous buttons! Go HERE to check it out and purchase before it's too late!
Below you can see my layout. I used another honeymoon cruise picture because the kit went perfectly with my pictures.
Supplies-
cardstock: Bazzill (Champagne, Raven);
patterned paper: Prima Almanac Collection (Agenda, Shaffer, Wordsmith);
letter stickers: Prima Almanac Collection (8x10 Canvas Typography Alpha Stickers);
flowers: Jenni Bowlin Studios Doily Flowers (Black), Prima Almanac Camille flowers;
ribbon: May Arts ¾” Velvet Corduroy (Black);
glitter glue: Ranger Stickles (Diamond);
mist: Maya Road Espresso Brown;
ink: Tim Holtz Vintage Photo, StazOn Archival Ink (Timber Brown);
stamps: Heartfelt Creations Vintage Life Background PreCut Set (HCPC 3367), Botanical Floral 1 PreCut Set (HCPC 3406), Botanical Floral 2 PreCut Set (HCPC 3407);
tools: Tim Holtz Paper Distressor, Spellbinders Rose Creations, Cuttlebug machine
other: doily, sewing machine, handmade butterflies,
***The BOLDED supplies are included in the Birds of a Feather April Kit or Extra Embellies Kit. Everything else is from my stash.
I used the sketch that I made for Creative Scrappers (#197). It just went perfectly with my picture and all the layers that I wanted to create in this layout!
You can see all the layers and textures in this side shot of the layout.
I handmade more of those cream colored roses and tried my hand at a new rose tutorial by Pascale from Swirlydoos. The larger roses are my own but the small rose in between I made as per her tutorial. I love how it turned out and might make more in the future!
I also used a few Prima Camille flowers to fill in the gaps and added leaves as well.
I glimmer misted a white doily to make it match my layout a bit more and placed it under the picture as the sketch suggests. I added a few embellies and a short title as well as some scattered butterflies. I love how this layout turned out too!
Thank you for stopping by my blog and taking your time to leave me a comment. I love reading them and will surely stop by your blog in return. :)
