Happy Wednesday! I'm so exited to share with you my project for today as Heartfelt Creations is debuting their Christmas Collection and the coordinating paper pack!

The Decorative Metal Fixtures Die compliments the ornamental lights, and cheerful Christmas themed stamps giving easy detail and decoration to any project. There are 6 new PreCut Stamp Sets, one 12x12 Paper Collection, and one beautiful new exclusive Spellbinders die designed for Heartfelt Creations. Here's a layout that I made with it using the new collection and the brand new papers:

HCPC 3491 Holiday Haven Precut Set
HCD 725 Decorative Metal Fixtures Die
452255 Grand Calibur
125156 Layered Poinsettia Shapeabilities
311071 Plumeria Dewdrops
HCDP1 225 Frosty Blanket Paper Collection

Other:
Tim Holtz Distress Inks (Vintage Photo), StazOn Archival Ink (Timber Brown), Prismacolor Pencils (PC945, PC947), Martha Stewart Punch Around the Page (Wild Flowers, Cherish), Rangers Stickles (Diamond), Bazzill Cardstock (black), diamond glaze, crystal glitter

When I first opened the pattern papers I gasped! It is absolutely gorgeous and so easy to work with! I decided to use this picture of me taken about 3 years ago. I turned it black and white and added a quote directly over my picture.

This layout was all about layers and of course poinsettia clusters. I wanted a snowy feel to this layout so I added chunky glitter to my handmade poinsettias, which I made out of two shades of blue and added dew drops as their centers.

Here's another look at the poinsettias. I fuzzy cut a bunch of these little flourishes and added them throughout the cluster and I think it adds to the snowy effect I was trying to achieve.

I also made and fuzzy cut a bird's cage and an iron corner. I added diamond glaze to the black die cut to make it look more like iron.

Here is the step by step write-up for this layout:
Punch around the edges of a blue pattern paper with Martha Stewart Cherish punch. Adhere unto black cardstock. Punch around a 10” square pattern paper with the Wild Flowers punch. Distress the punched lace and adhere in center of layout. Die cut an edge and add over bottom side of page. Add a 5”x7” photo in the center. Stamp, die cut and shape a bunch of different size poinsettias from the Petite Poinsettia Precut Set on blue pattern paper. Layer two if the same size and one smaller, lighter die to make one flower and add three dew drops as the flower center. Stamp and die cut a few leaves from that set as well. Add flowers and leaves to form a cluster on the right bottom side of the photo. Stamp, color and fuzzy cut one birdcage and five flourishes from the Holiday Haven Precut Set. Add to layout as shown. Die cut a corner flourish from the Decorative Metal Fixtures set. Add diamond glaze over it and let dry. After it dries, add to top right corner of photo. Finally, add Diamond stickles to the doves and crystal glitter to the flowers to give it a snowy feel.
