wednesday...Heartfelt Creations

Happy Heartfelt Creations Wednesday! Today I want to share with you a Thank You card that I made for Heartfelt Creations using a few older dies and stamps.

Supplies-

Other:
Recollections Cardstock (brown, cream), Bazzill cardstock (green), Tim Holtz Distress Inks (Vintage Photo), StazOn Archival Ink (Timber Brown), Rangers Stickles (Diamond), Rangers Liquid Pearls (White Opal), Prismacolor Pencils (PC945, PC1003), OMS, Shapeabilities Labels 18, Victoria A2 Embossing Folder, foam

I've wanted to make a window type card for a while now and finally decided to use the Decorative Window Scene Die for my card. I die cut this window in both light brown cardstock and those foam rectangles that kids play with. I adhered these two layers together to make the window pop up a bit.

I stamped and die cut a bunch of different green leaves and filled the inside of the window with them. I then added a few yellow flowers and two doves. I stamped a sentiment and die cut it with a labels 18 shapeabilities. I finished by adding small liquid pearl dots around the window.

Here is the step by step write-up for this layout:
Cut an 8.5”x11” cardstock to 11”x4.5” and fold in half to create a 4.5”x5.5” card base. Emboss the font of the card with the Victoria A2 Embossing Folder and lightly ink the edges.  Die cut and emboss a Decorative Window Scene out of the same light brown cardstock as well as a black one out of thin foam. Adhere the cardstock to the foam to create dimension and adhere to center of card base. Stamp and die cut using its matching die a few leaves from the Leaf Medley PreCut Set and Organic Fillers PreCut Set. Also die cut two greeneries from the Western Broncos Die. Adhere the greeneries in  the center of the window as shown. Stamp the sentient onto a cream colored cardstock and die cut it with the second smallest die from the Shapeabilities Labels 18. Ink the edges on add over the window on the right side. Stamp and die cut three flowers from the Malabar Clematis Precut Set. Color with Prismacolors and blend with OMS. Add stickles to the edges and gala glitz to the centers. Let dry. Stamp and die cut two perching doves from the Brookside Manor Precut Set. Add stickles to make them stand out. When dry, arrange the flowers in the center of the window and the doves to the right side as shown. Finally, add tiny white liquid pearl dots to accent the window and title die.
