Happy Friday! Today I have a layout to share with you that I made for Flying Unicorn's Less is More August Challenge and let me tell you, this layout was a REAL challenge!
Here were the rules:
-create a layout using 5 photos.
-only cardstock allowed, no patterned paper.
-no more than 4 embellies and that includes ribbons or lace.
-must have journalling... more than a couple of sentences.
and here is my take on this challenge:
I used 3 flowers and one stamped and fuzzy cut leaf as my embellies. Because stamping is allowed (I checked!), I then stamped a few leaves where I wanted to make the clusters.
Here's a close up of one of my clusters. For the background, I used a leaves/flowers Prima template and misted it with light brown ink. I then stamped over it with Prima's Script stamp and randomly added bubble wrap stamping over the background for added texture.
Here's a close up of the second cluster. I also distressed the edges and machine stitched everything together for a finished look.
Here's my title (cut with my Pazzles Inspiration) and journaling. My layout sis based on Lydell Quin's sketch for The Color Room, which you can find HERE
Thanks for stopping by my blog today and have a wonderful weekend!
