My hubby and I had a mini photo session last year in our new home which we did ourselves (that timer works wonders!) and this is one of the pics we took.
Here are a few close ups of my layout:
Here is the step by step write-up for this project:
Start by die cutting a 6” circle out of light brown pattern
paper. Stamp and emboss the sentiment on the top right side of the circle. Ink
all the edges and adhere to background paper. Add another layer of pattern
paper over the bottom area of the page and add a 6”x4” photo over it. Stamp one
of the pine cones right above the top edges of where the photo would be (lift
picture to know exactly where to stamp) and the second one in the bottom right
corner of the layout. Die cut two ornamental dies in white and add to either
side of the photo as shown. Stamp the round merry Christmas sentiment on white
cardstock 3 times. Cut out with two different size nesting Shapeabilities dies
and emboss. Stamp the scroll on white cardstock and fuzzy cut. Add stickles and
set it aside to dry. For the flowers, stamp a bunch of different size
poinsettias and layer them to form thick 3D flowers. Add a pearl to their
center and stickles to the petals. Stamp a few leaves and die cut with its
coordinating die. To form the cluster, arrange the poinsettias, leaves, and
round embellies around the photo as shown. Finish by randomly adding liquid
pearl drops around the cluster.
