Other:
StazOn Archival Ink (Jet Black), Tim Holtz Distress Ink (Forrest Moss, Vintage Photo), Tim Holtz Blending tool, We R Memory Keepers Lucky 8 Punch Tatted Doily, Rangers Stickles (Burgundy, Diamond), Distrezz-it-All tool, Kaisercraft Black Rhinestones, embossing tool, water brush, sewing machine

I love the deeper, vintage colors of this collection! I wanted the focus to be on the photo so I kept the embellies fairly neutral, except for a pop (or two!) of color with the butterflies.

I used the We R Memory Keepers Lucky 8 Punch to make a doily out of the pattern paper. I inked the edges and added it over my 'signature' distressed and machine stitched background. I made two red butterflies to match the scarf on the photo and to provide a pop of color and added these on opposite sides around the photo.

I stamped and fuzzy cut the title and used stickles to highlight it. I nested it among neutral colored flowers.

I stamped and fuzzy cut some greenery and tucked them in among the neutral flowers. these flowers are the easiest to make as they only use 3 layers!

Here is the step by step write-up for this project:
Distress the edges of a 12”x12 pattern paper with the Distrezz-it-All tool and ink the edges. Machine stitch around the edges and adhere unto another 12”x12” piece of pattern paper. Use the We R Memory Keepers Lucky 8 Punch Tatted Doily and make a doily out of one of the pattern papers. Ink the edges and adhere to the center of the page. Mat your photo with black cardstock and adhere over the center of the doily. Layer a strip of 1”x”10” pattern paper under the photo. Stamp and color with the distress inks and a water brush the greeneries from the Blessing to Me Precut Set and both from the Juliet Spray Precut Set and fuzzy cut them. Add stickles to them and let them dry. In the meantime, stamp different sizes of tattered florals in a neutral pattern paper. Ink al edges and assemble the flowers. Add gala glitz for their centers. Stamp and die cut the largest leaves from the Open Leaf PreCut Set and ink the edges. Assemble the cluster of flowers and greenery around the photo as shown. Stamp the sentiment from the Moments with You Precut Set and die cut it using the doily from the Asian Accents. Tuck this doily into the cluster as well. Finally, stamp and fuzzy cut two butterflies from the HCPC 3519 Butterfly Medley PreCut Set. Adhere to layout and add stickles to their wings and black rhinestones to their body.
