wednesday...Swirlydoos November Kit Layout #3

Hi everyone! Welcome back to my blog!

Today I want to share with you a wedding layout that I made with the November Swirlydoos Kit, Autumn Rose!

This kit was begging to be used with this picture of my DH and I at our wedding, 4.5 yrs ago! This layout was inspired by Gabrielle Pollaco's work.

I handmade the heart out of the resist Heidy Swapp paper and used the Forrest Moss distress ink to add some color. I hand stitched around the border and made a scalloped white edge to give it a finished look.

I water distressed as well as used the Distrezz-it-all tool for the background layers. I pinched some areas (Gabbi style!) and added some lace underneath and a butterfly on top.


I used the gorgeous flowers from the Flowers Add On Kit to add just a pop of color (the add on kit matches the flowers in the picture!). I also used a paper doily and layered a crochet doily included in the kit for added texture. I scattered some Recollections tan pearls around the clusters to finish it up,
