"Fun Memories" Layout
This layout is based on the January Sketch. Come and play with us this month and get a chance to win an awesome prize!
Here's this month's beautiful sketch:
The pictures on this layout are of my niece and I posing in front of my Christmas tree early in December. She is so much fun and I was so exited that her mommy captured these pictures for me!
I die cut the pattern paper with my Pazzles Inspiration and inked the edges. teh blue cardstock is from the Cardstock Add On and it goes perfectly with the kit! I added stickles to the bird image to make it pop a bit.

I did a little mixed media on this page as well. I have to admit that mixed media layouts scare me but I do try it every now and then and I often do love the results! I simply did a little stenciling with the light blue/grey Silks paint included in the kit, added a layer of thin layer of gesso and I then randomly stamped with my script Prima background stamp over it with archival brown ink. To the top right corner I added a small cluster and a butterfly to balance the layout.
I wanted to use a bunch of pictures from the little mini photoshoot so I printed them 2"x2" in a 4"x6" photo paper and then cut them into two strips so I could angle them. I added a few layers underneath and the title next to them. The black sentiment on the top left corner of the photo is actually a long pull-out tag that I used to journal about that day.
